The event kicks off with 2 lightning talks by different experts focusing on AI in our daily lives, followed by a #herHACKmini and a networking Apéro.

Lausanne Speakers
Data Scientist
Tobia has been part of the ELCA Data Science team since 2019. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from EPFL, with a specialization in Data Science & Analytics. His domain of expertise is Machine Learning, with a particular interest in the Natural Language Processing (NLP) domain. He has contributed to multiple client projects in different domains, covering all phases of machine learning product lifecycle: from elaboration to development, operationalization, and maintenance. He has worked on both on-premise and cloud data solutions developed for our clients.
Data Scientist
Zuzana is a devoted data scientist whose background in life sciences has led her to explore real-world data with the aim of enhancing patient outcomes and stratification. She is a data scientist in the advanced clinical research team at Cancer DataNet/TriNetX. Besides her professional role, Zuzana is a member of Women in Data Science Zurich. As an ambassador, she holds a position on the WiDS Zurich board, currently serving as its president. Zuzana is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in data science and loves connecting with fellow data scientists and communities.
